Cover base is a line of base coatings that give nails an elegant nude or bright pigmented color, while providing not only a beautiful appearance, but also protection and strengthening of the nail plate.
Single-layer bases offer nude shades, such as Nude or Rosy milk, have a translucent consistency that allows the natural color of the nails to barely shine through. These bases are ideal for fine alignment and give the nails a natural and well-groomed look.
Pigmented bases such as Red, Light Olive or Sapphire provide rich color and coverage, ideal for those who want to add bright colors to their manicure.
The method of use for both types of databases is the same:
1. Carry out the standard preparation of the nail plate: filing, polishing with a buff, degreasing, dehydration and applying a primer if necessary.
2. Apply an elastic base (rubber or airy base), dry and remove the sticky layer.
3. For single-layer bases: perform leveling using the "wet floor" technique.
For pigmented bases: apply a thin layer of the base, carefully outline the cuticle area and side parallels with a thin brush, dry. After that, level in the "wet floor" technique.
